Our office is on Asaf Ali Road in Darya Ganj. We are in Room 101-102 of the 1-18 B building, which is quite close to Ansal Plaza. It’s an interesting area because you have the old part of the city and the newer developments clashing together. We spend our days surrounded by fabric swatches, flower catalogs, and sketches of stage layouts. It can get pretty messy when we are in the middle of planning a big event. There are ribbons and pieces of paper everywhere. We are always on the phone with decorators or caterers, trying to make sure everyone shows up on time. Darya Ganj is always crowded, so getting supplies delivered to the office is sometimes a headache. We have a lot of meetings here, mostly sitting around the big table we managed to squeeze into the room. It’s not a glamorous job behind the scenes. There’s a lot of sweating and heavy lifting involved when we are actually on-site. But here in the office, it’s mostly about the details and making sure we haven't missed anything. We drink a lot of water and try to stay organized, even though the files keep piling up. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to counting the candle holders for the next weekend. We often stay late into the night when a big wedding is coming up the next day.
