Orient Craft

We are located at 209 A/1, on the first floor in Savitri Nagar. It is very close to Malviya Nagar, so the area is always packed with people and cars. Our spot at Orient Craft is a bit of an escape from the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking below. It is not a very big office, just a few rooms filled with desks and samples. We have some old shelves that are sagging under the weight of all the files and catalogs we’ve kept over the years. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, so you have to watch your step coming up. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes in every night, so sometimes there is a bit of dust on the windowsills. We handle a lot of the day-to-day business right here, usually with a lot of cross-talk between the rooms. It is a very informal environment. We might be wearing flip-flops or old t-shirts while we work because comfort is more important than looking like a bank manager. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. Being in Savitri Nagar means we have plenty of food options nearby, which is the best part of the day. It is just a regular Delhi workspace where we try to stay organized despite the constant flow of things to do. No frills, just us working in a spot we've called home for a long time now. We just get on with it.
