Om Exports

Mehrauli is a crowded place and our spot at 882/6 in Ward No.6 is right in the middle of it all. Om Exports is written on a small board near the entrance. You have to look closely or you might miss it because there are so many shops around here. The building is older, with thick walls and narrow hallways that stay dark even during the day. We’ve got piles of boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back. It’s a bit cramped but we manage. The street outside is always busy with people going to the market or the monuments nearby. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of big fans that make a lot of noise. The chairs are mismatched and the phone rings more than it should. We get a lot of delivery guys coming in and out, asking for directions or dropping off packages. It’s a functional space, nothing more. No one wears a suit here. We just wear whatever is comfortable for the weather. The tea stays hot and the work gets finished eventually. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing in an old part of the city. We like being in Mehrauli despite the traffic and the noise that comes with it.
