Observer Research Foundation New Delhi

We’re located in Defence Colony, specifically at D 11, Second Floor. This is the New Delhi home for the Observer Research Foundation. Being in Def Col, as people call it, means we’re right in the middle of a very active part of the city. Our office is a place where we do a lot of research on things like politics, international relations, and development. It’s not a fancy set-up; it’s an office where people are usually busy typing away or on a call. We spend a lot of time analyzing what’s happening in the country and trying to make sense of it all. It’s not the kind of job where you see immediate results every day, but it’s interesting work. We have people from different backgrounds working here, and we all just sort of get on with it. The neighborhood is busy, so there’s always noise from the street, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to sell anything or promote ourselves in a big way. We just put out our reports and hold our discussions. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when we have visitors, but usually, it’s just our regular team. We’ve been at this D 11 address for a long time, and it’s become our base for everything we do in the capital. It’s just a practical space for people who care about research and policy stuff. We like being right here in the mix of New Delhi.
