Nun

Living and working in the DDA Janta Flats in Badarpur is definitely an experience. Our little place, Nun, is tucked away in flat number 377, and it’s basically where everything happens. If you know New Delhi, you know these areas are packed. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and there’s always someone shouting or a bike zooming past the window. We don't have a fancy storefront with neon signs. It’s just a room where we’ve set up our equipment and desks. We started this because we needed something to do that was close to home. Most of our neighbors know us, and sometimes they pop in just to say hello or ask for a favor. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know each other well. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore. We don't follow a strict 9-to-5 schedule because when you work where you live, the lines get blurred. Sometimes we’re working at midnight, and other times we’re taking a long break in the middle of the day. It’s not a polished business, but it’s ours. We handle whatever comes our way, mostly small jobs from people around the area. It keeps us busy and pays the bills, and that’s really all we were looking for when we started this. It's a humble setup, but it gets the job done.
