Nucon Engineers

Nucon Engineers is based in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. We are at S-18 in the Functional Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a place where things actually get made. It’s noisy, it’s dusty, and there’s always a truck blocking the road somewhere. Our workshop is a big open space with concrete floors that have seen a lot of use over the years. We do engineering and manufacturing work, so there are lathes, drills, and bits of metal everywhere. It’s not a place for nice clothes; we’re usually in overalls and covered in a bit of grease. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us standing around a machine or looking at a drawing on a wooden table. We take on all sorts of mechanical jobs for other companies in the area. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we end up staying late, drinking tea and trying to get a machine back in order. The power cuts in the estate can be annoying, but we just work around them with the generator. Most of our workers have been here a long time and they really know their stuff. We don’t bother with marketing or trying to sound bigger than we are. We are just an engineering shop that focuses on making parts that work correctly. It’s honest, gritty work for local industry.
