Nortrans Shipping

Down here at D 361 in Defence Colony, things usually stay pretty busy with the shipping side of our work. Nortrans Shipping has been based at this New Delhi address for a good while. It is a decent spot to work, although finding a place to park your car in the morning can be a real nightmare sometimes. We spend the majority of our hours tracking different packages and talking to drivers on our phones. It is not the most exciting job in the world, but it is necessary work that needs to be done. The office is usually cluttered with stacks of papers and empty tea cups by the time the afternoon rolls around. We try our best to keep everything organized, but sometimes life just gets in the way of filing everything in the right spot. We have a small crew working here, and we all know each other’s habits pretty well. This isn't one of those fancy glass offices you see in magazines. It is just a place where we get things done. We deal with the New Delhi heat and the heavy traffic just like everyone else does. Sometimes the internet goes out for no reason, and we just have to sit and wait. People ask us what we do, and we just tell them we move stuff. That is really all there is to it. The local chai guy knows our order perfectly now, and the building at D 361 feels like a second home.
