Next Step

Our office is tucked away at A-18 in Shivalik, Malviya Nagar. It's a quiet enough street, which is nice when you're trying to get work done. Next Step has been operating from this building for some time now. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees or a flashy website. It's just a small team here. Most days are spent answering phones and trying to figure out the best way to help people move forward with whatever they’re working on. The space is a bit small, and sometimes the printer acts up at the worst time, but it works for us. We like being in Malviya Nagar because it's easy for people to find. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we grab a quick break when the afternoon slump hits. We don't do much advertising; mostly people just hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward setup. You walk in, there’s a couple of chairs, and we talk. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the process. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a small operation like this one. It's nothing fancy, just a regular office where we try to get things right. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. We just take it one day at a time. Sometimes the tea runs out, but we just walk down the street. It’s a good community.
