N. B. Properties is right in the middle of the chaos at 4594, Main Bazar in Paharganj. We are directly opposite the Jaddi Dawakhana. If you've ever been to Paharganj, you know how loud and crowded it gets at all hours. Our office is a little haven away from all that noise, though you can still hear the rickshaws honking outside the window. It’s a small, old office. We’ve been here for many years, and the walls are covered with old maps and various notes we've scribbled. We deal with all sorts of people, from locals who have lived here forever to folks coming from far away looking for a spot. The market is always moving, so we see something new every day. We don't have a fancy waiting area or a coffee machine. You just come in and find a spot to sit on one of the benches. We usually have a fan going to keep the air moving because it gets stuffy. It’s a bit cramped with all the ledgers and books we keep, but we know where everything is. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just walking past our door in the bazar. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. It’s the heart of the city.
