Anyone who knows Delhi knows that Nehru Place is the center of everything when it comes to computers and commercial offices. It is an incredibly busy area, and Pragati House is right in the thick of it. The elevators can be a bit slow because so many people are using them, but once you get up to the 5th floor, it is a bit quieter. Our desks are usually covered in files and notes about different buildings across the country, but Nehru Place is where we spend most of our time. It is a very practical office, meant for working rather than showing off. We have a small table for meetings and a lot of shelf space for all the documents we have to keep. The energy of Nehru Place is contagious, even if it gets exhausting sometimes. We are constantly talking to people about office rentals and sales. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication and keeping track of who is moving where. We’ve become used to the noise and the pace of this building, and we just keep doing our work every day.
