Nausheen Gas Agency

Nausheen Gas Agency operates out of 81 B Dda Flats in Shahpur Jat, New Delhi 110049. It is a busy spot because Shahpur Jat has all those narrow lanes and a lot of people living in a small area. We handle the gas cylinders, which is heavy work and keeps us moving around all day long. The office is right inside the DDA flats area, so we are right in the middle of where our customers live. We have to keep track of all the bookings and the delivery trucks that come and go. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the traffic around here, but they always manage to get through. There is always a lot of paperwork to do, like checking the registers and making sure the empty bottles are accounted for. The phone rings a lot with people asking when their refill is going to arrive. We just try to keep things organized so nobody is left without gas for their stove. It is a steady job, nothing very exciting, but it is important for the people in the neighborhood. The stairs in our building are a bit worn down from people coming up and down all day. We see the same faces every week and know most of the people nearby. Being in New Delhi, the heat in the summer makes the work tougher, but we get it done.
