About National Water Development Agency – Event & Planning in South Delhi
The National Water Development Agency is located at 18-20 in the Community Centre in Saket. Saket is a nice area, and the Community Centre has a lot of different offices and shops around it. Our office is where we handle a lot of the planning and research for water resources. It’s a government setup, so you can expect a lot of files and official-looking desks. It’s not a place for flashy displays. We have maps spread out on large tables and engineers discussing river links or irrigation data. The pace can be slow sometimes because of the nature of the work, but it’s steady. We have people who have worked here for decades and they know every detail of the projects we handle. The office has that specific smell of old paper and ink. During the summer, we’re all very grateful for the cooling system, even if it’s a bit noisy. We get visitors from different states coming in for meetings or to check on the progress of certain water studies. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone trying to sell a product. We just focus on the data and the technical side of things. The Saket location is convenient because there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite nearby, and it’s easy for people to find us. It’s a quiet, dedicated space where the focus is purely on the work at hand.
