Nakshatra

Our shop is in Lajpat Nagar, up on the first floor of B-90, Part-2. It’s a busy part of town, as anyone who has been to the market knows. We like it here because there is always something going on downstairs. Our space is quite simple. We have some display areas and a place to sit and talk. We don't go in for anything too flashy. The stairs up to our place are a bit narrow, but once you're inside, it’s a decent size. We spend most of our time helping people find what they are looking for. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We might be drinking tea or chatting when you walk in. We treat everyone who comes through the door the same way. We aren't interested in high-pressure sales. If you like something, you buy it. If not, that’s fine too. Lajpat Nagar has a lot of history and we feel like a small part of the community here. We've seen shops come and go, but we've stayed put. Our walls have some old photos and some notes pinned up. It’s a bit lived-in, but that’s because we spend a lot of time here. We do our own cleaning and keep things running ourselves. It’s a simple way to make a living. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this block for years.
