Naeem Steel Works

Naeem Steel Works is located over at C-57 in Abul Fazal Enclave, which is part of the Jamia Nagar area. If you come down this way, you will see a lot of steel pipes and rods stacked up near the entrance. It is a pretty straightforward workshop. We spend most of the day cutting metal or welding pieces together. The floor always has some iron filings or dust on it, and it smells like ozone and hot metal most of the time. It is not a very quiet place because of the grinders and the hammering that goes on. We started here because the enclave is a busy spot with plenty of people moving around. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough room to get the steel work finished. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, making it hard to unload the supply trucks. We just work through the pile of jobs we have. Usually, the shutters are up early in the morning and we don't close until late evening. There is a lot of black soot on the walls from the work we do. People from around Jamia Nagar know where we are. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small corner with a desk and some old chairs for when someone needs to sit down. It is a dusty, busy place where we just focus on the steel in front of us.
