Ministry Of Noise

Our place is at C-20 in Lajpat Nagar, right near the government school. It’s a busy street, especially when the school lets out and all the kids are running around. We called it Ministry of Noise because, well, we deal with a lot of loud stuff. Speakers, mixers, amplifiers, that kind of thing. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It’s more of a workshop where things are stacked up in corners. Sometimes the wires are all over the floor and we have to trip over them to get to the back. We spend a lot of time testing out sound equipment to make sure it actually works before it goes out to a gig. It gets quite dusty in here, and we’re always looking for a screwdriver or a spare cable that’s gone missing. Lajpat Nagar is a good place to be, though parking is a nightmare most days. We don't really have a big staff, just a few people who know how to handle the gear. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi. We just like what we do, even if it means our ears ring at the end of the day. If you’re looking for us, just listen for the music or the buzzing coming from the speakers near the school. We’re usually around, just working on the next setup and hoping we have enough tape.
