We are located up on the second floor of R 116 in Khirki Extension which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the narrow lanes of Malviya Nagar. Santosh Kumar is the one we look to for the main stuff here. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with computers and a lot of talk about solar power and other energy things. It gets quite bright in here during the afternoon because of the big windows but that just fits the theme of what we do. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep so you have to be careful coming up. We have a lot of maps pinned to the walls that are starting to curl at the edges. Khirki is a lively place with lots of small shops and people everywhere so there is always something to look at out the window when you need a break from the screen. We eat our lunch together most days and usually someone brings something they cooked at home to share with the rest of the group. The desks are a bit cluttered with blueprints and technical manuals that we probably should have filed away months ago. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have visitors but we make it work by pulling in chairs from the other room. We just keep plugging away at the daily tasks and trying to stay cool in this Delhi heat.
