If you head over to East of Kailash, you will find us at number 9 in Sant Nagar. We spend a lot of our time here at Mex Exhibition just planning out how to fit a bunch of stalls into a big hall. Our office stays pretty messy because of all the floor plans and maps lying around. Someone is usually shouting into a phone about a truck being late or a carpet not being the right shade. It’s a lot of stress but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is okay, and there are plenty of places to get a quick snack when we haven't had time for a real lunch. We have these big filing cabinets that are overflowing with old contracts and photos from events we did years ago. The air conditioner works most of the time but when it’s really hot in Delhi, it struggles a bit. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a bunch of people working out of a Sant Nagar building. Sometimes we stay late and the street gets quiet, which is a nice change from the usual noise. It’s mostly just administrative work here, then we head out to the venues to actually build things. It's a lot of walking and a lot of lists that never seem to get shorter no matter how much we cross off. We just keep our heads down and get the logistics sorted for the next event.
