Mellcon Engineers Pvt Ltd is located at 38 Zamrudpur in the Greater Kailash area. This isn’t a place with a shiny front desk or people in suits; it is an engineering spot where we actually build and design things. The building has been here for a long time and it shows its age a little bit, but the equipment inside is what matters. We have blueprints spread out over tables and computers that stay on late into the night. It is a mix of office work and hands-on stuff. Sometimes we are out in the back checking on a fabrication project, and other times we are just sitting around drinking tea and arguing about a technical drawing. Zamrudpur is a bit of a tight squeeze, so getting large parts in and out of number 38 takes some planning and a lot of shouting to guide the drivers. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or marketing because we are too busy actually doing the engineering. It is a practical environment where mistakes are corrected on the fly and everyone knows how to use a wrench as well as a calculator. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for years. It’s a bit messy with metal scraps and old prototypes lying around, but it is a place where real work happens. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects on our list.
