About Mehra Priya – Fashion & Trends in South Delhi
I work out of D 22 in Panchsheel Enclave. It’s a quiet residential area, which is nice because it feels more like a home than a stiff office. I have a small room set aside for my work, and it’s usually filled with whatever project I’m currently focused on. There’s a big window that looks out onto the street, and I spend a fair amount of time just watching people walk their dogs or the cars go by. It’s not a place where I have a lot of visitors, so I don’t keep it perfectly tidy. There are piles of paper and reference books scattered around my chair. I’ve lived in Delhi for a long time, and being in Panchsheel feels like a good balance between being central and having some peace. I don't follow a strict corporate schedule. Some days I start early, and other days I’m still working late into the night because that’s just how the rhythm goes. I don’t have a big staff or a marketing team. It’s just me handling the phone calls and the emails and the actual work. Sometimes the printer runs out of ink right when I need it, or the delivery guy can’t find the house, but that’s just part of the daily life here. It’s a simple, straightforward way of working that suits my personality and the way I like to live.
