Mednovo Pharmaceuticals Private Limited operates out of Shop No. G-5 in the Ashirwad Building, which is part of the K-84 block in Green Park. It’s a busy area of New Delhi, and being on the ground floor means we see people passing by all day long. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be very organized with where we put the pharmaceutical supplies. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and we keep a small stepladder handy for the top rows. The street noise from Green Park is something you just get used to after a week. We deal with a lot of paperwork every day, mostly invoices and shipping manifests that need to be filed away in the metal cabinets. Sometimes the delivery vans block the entrance, and we have to go out and ask them to move so customers can get in. We don't have any polished corporate speeches here. We just talk like regular people, complaining about the humidity or the price of petrol while we pack up the orders. It’s a practical place where the focus is on moving boxes and keeping the records straight. We stay busy from nine until six, and by the time we lock up the shutters at night, we’re usually pretty tired but satisfied that we got through the day's list of tasks.
