Mahamaya Life Sciences P. Ltd. is based out of Tara Apartments in Alaknanda. It’s a bit different because we are in a residential-style block, at N-35. It makes the workday feel a little more grounded, I guess. We deal with crop protection chemicals and exporting them to different places. It’s a lot of coordination between the manufacturers and the shipping agents. Our desks are usually covered in documents and printouts from international clients. Alaknanda is a nice area, quite green compared to the more industrial parts of the city. We don't have a giant glass lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, it's just one of us answering the door if someone drops by. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and making sure the registrations are up to date. It can get tedious, but it’s necessary for this kind of business. The team here is pretty tight-knit. We eat lunch together most days and talk about stuff other than work. It feels more like a small community than a corporate machine. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the chemicals get where they need to go so farmers can protect their livelihoods. It’s steady work and we like the quiet atmosphere of the apartment office. It keeps things calm when the work gets stressful. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done.
