Our place is over in Kalkaji, right in Deshbandhu Apartments at number 34. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy this area gets, especially with the market nearby. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s basically a flat that we’ve turned into our working space. There’s a lot of paper around and the desks are a bit of a mess most days. We spend a lot of time just coordinating things from here. The parking is always a headache for anyone coming by, so we usually tell people to take an auto or the metro. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the AC when it's hot out. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us by name. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a lobby; you just walk up and knock. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the road. We don't have a big team, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that right now. It’s a practical place for us to do Mckinsey And Company’s work without all the unnecessary bells and whistles. We like the local vibe of Kalkaji and being part of this old residential complex.
