Max New York Life

Our place is at 27D 1 in Gautam Nagar, New Delhi. It's a bit of a maze around here if you aren't familiar with the lanes. The pin code is 110049. We’ve been operating Max New York Life out of this spot for some time. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood where everything is close together. The office is small and tucked away. We have some old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep us cool enough when the Delhi heat kicks in. Most of the day is spent handling papers and talking to people who drop by. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. We have piles of folders and probably too many coffee mugs sitting around. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and people shouting, but that’s just how it is here. We like being in Gautam Nagar because it feels real. There is no pretense. We just do our jobs. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out. It’s just a local office trying to keep things straight. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us sitting at desks making sure everything is in order. We know the local tea seller by name and he knows how we like our chai. It works for us.
