Madhukar Hospital

Our hospital is located at F 430 in Sarita Vihar. It’s tucked into the residential blocks, so it feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a big city institution. The building has several floors, and we use every bit of the space we have. It’s not one of those new glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of Delhi. It’s a solid, older structure that has seen a lot of use over the years. Inside, the tiles are a bit worn down from all the footsteps. We have different sections for the wards and the outpatient area. The lobby is often full of families waiting for news or just sitting together. We don't have a coffee shop or anything like that, just a simple water cooler and some benches for people to rest. The staff works in shifts, so there is always someone walking around the hallways with a clipboard or a tray. It can get quite hectic during the visiting hours when the street outside gets packed with cars and rickshaws. Sarita Vihar is a busy place, and being in the F block means we are right in the middle of people's lives. We just focus on keeping the beds clean and the medicine cabinets stocked. It’s a lot of hard work, and the building shows its age in some spots, but it serves the purpose well. We don’t use much technology for the sake of it, preferring to keep things simple.
