Madan Properties

We have been sitting in this office at J-10 Lajpat Nagar for more years than I care to count. The Ring Road right outside is always packed with cars and the noise never really stops, but you get used to it after a while. Being so close to Mg Road means we see a lot of people passing through every single day. Madan Properties isn't some big fancy setup with glass walls and uniforms. It is just me and a couple of others sitting here with our registers and some old maps of the local blocks. We spend most of our time talking to neighbors and keeping track of who is moving out or who might be looking for a new place to rent. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but it keeps the air moving during the hot Delhi afternoons. People usually just walk in because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic or they heard about us from someone down the street. We handle the usual stuff, mostly residential flats and the occasional shop space that opens up in the market nearby. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through, and the tea guy from the corner comes by three times a day. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just know this specific patch of Lajpat Nagar really well and we help people find a spot to live without making it too complicated.
