Our place is located in New Delhi, right on the border with Haryana in the 110049 area. We are on the top floor of House Number 125A. Being on the top floor means we get a bit more light, but it also means a lot of stairs to climb every single day. You get used to it after a while, though. The office has been here for a long time. It feels lived-in, with old wooden desks and cabinets that have seen better days. We deal with various trading and business matters that keep us occupied from morning until evening. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and small businesses, so there is always some noise from the street. In the winter, it gets quite cold up here, so we wrap up in sweaters while we work. In the summer, it's the opposite, and the Delhi heat really hits the roof. We don't have any fancy branding or modern decor. It’s just a functional space where we handle our documents and talk to our contacts. There’s a small corner where we make tea and keep a few snacks for the afternoon. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out notes. It is a straightforward operation. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down. It isn't a flashy life, but it is how we run things at M S Babulal Uttamchand Co.
