M.N. Modes

M.N. Modes is located in D-14, Dda Flats, Kalkaji. It’s a residential area, so our setup is quite small and tucked away. Most people in the flats probably just see us as another neighbor. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our equipment and materials. Kalkaji is a busy neighborhood with a lot of markets and people everywhere. Being in a DDA flat means we don't have the space of a big factory, but it works for what we do at M.N. Modes. We keep the noise down as much as we can so we don't bother the families living next door. The stairs at D-14 can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy bags. We have a small team, just a few people who know how to get the work done. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We drink a lot of tea and talk while we work. It’s not a corporate environment at all. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around just to make space for a new delivery. D-14 is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Kalkaji has everything we need nearby, so we don't have to go far for supplies or food. It’s a simple life. We just do our work, pack the items, and send them off. M.N. Modes has been in this flat for a while and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building. It’s comfortable.
