We are over at 62 in the DSIDC Complex in Okhla Phase-I. It is a busy place to be, especially when the trucks are trying to get through the narrow lanes. Our workshop has seen better days, but the machines still run fine and that is what matters to us. We mostly spend our time fixing parts and making sure the dimensions are correct. It gets quite noisy when everything is running at once, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the lathes. The floor is always a bit oily no matter how much we sweep it up. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. Some mornings we are here before the sun is even up to finish off a job that needs to go out by noon. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us covered in a bit of grease. It’s practical work. We’ve had some of the same customers coming to this spot in Okhla for years because they know we are usually here. The tea man comes around twice a day and that is when we take a short break to sit on the stools outside. It’s just how we operate, nothing too complicated, just keeping the engineering side of things moving along as best as we can.
