If you have ever tried to find a specific address in Shahpur Jat, you know it can be a bit of a challenge with all the narrow lanes. We are at 153-F, up on the third floor. It is a creative neighborhood with a lot of designers and small workshops nearby, so there is always something interesting happening outside. Our space is very much a working studio. There are tools, bits of material, and various projects in different stages of completion scattered everywhere. It is not the kind of place where everything is perfectly neat, but we know where everything is. The climb up to the third floor is a daily routine that we’ve all gotten used to by now. We have a small area for sitting, but most of our time is spent on our feet making things. The light comes in quite well during the afternoon, which is nice. We don't have a formal front desk or a receptionist. If someone drops by, one of us just looks up from whatever we are doing to say hello. It is a relaxed place, and we often have music playing in the background while we work. We’ve been in this spot for a while and feel like part of the local community. Everyone on the street knows each other, and we often help out our neighbors with small things. It is just a simple, honest workspace for people who like to build.
