Lavkash Fashions

If you ever find yourself on Ravidas Marg in Tughlakabad, you might spot us at Ta- 94 A. That is where Lavkash Fashions is based. We have been operating out of this building for a few years now. It is an old area with a lot of history, and the streets can be quite narrow for the trucks. Sometimes the delivery drivers have a hard time getting through the turn, but we manage somehow. We are not doing anything groundbreaking here. We just make clothes. The hum of the sewing machines is the background noise of our lives every single day. On hot days, the fans barely do enough to keep us cool, but we keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze from the street. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk to work every morning. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We rely on the work we put out. If someone likes a shirt we made, they tell their neighbor or a friend. That is how we grow. The workspace is filled with the smell of new fabric and steam from the irons. It is a bit messy, with scraps of cloth on the floor by the end of the day, but we sweep up before heading home to our families. We are not trying to be the biggest name out there. We just want to do the work.
