La Vision Animation Private Limited

Our office is on the second floor at 457 6 in Govindpuri, Kalkaji. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’re used to it. We do animation work here under the name La Vision Animation Private Limited. The rooms are full of computers and some drawing tablets. It’s usually pretty quiet because everyone is wearing headphones and staring at their monitors. We have some sketches pinned to the walls and a few empty cups lying around. It’s not a polished studio like you see in the movies. It’s just a workspace in New Delhi where we try to make things look good on screen. Sometimes the software crashes and we all have a bit of a moan about it, but then we get back to it. We've been in this building for some time now and know the other tenants. The lighting isn't great in the hallway, but the office itself is okay. We don't really have a receptionist or anything. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer. We are just a group of people who like making things move on a screen. It’s a lot of sitting and clicking, really. We just take it one frame at a time and see how it goes. Some days are faster than others, but we keep at it until the sun goes down. It's what we know.
