La Opala Rg Limited has a spot at HS-28 in Kailash Colony. If you are around this part of Delhi, you know it is a mix of houses and shops. Our place is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day things for the business. We deal with glassware and crockery, so we have to be a bit careful with how we move things around. The store is filled with boxes and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we make it work. It is not one of those super modern shops with bright lights. It feels more like a local business where you can actually talk to the people working there. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to customers who drop by. The weather in Delhi can be tough, either too hot or too cold, so we spend a lot of time adjusting the air conditioning. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just have the items people need and we sell them. Sometimes we have a cup of tea and just watch the traffic go by outside. It is a nice enough neighborhood to work in. We have our routines, like opening up at a certain time and making sure the displays are mostly clean. We don't have a big corporate feel at all. It is just a few of us here doing the work and keeping the business going as best as we can.
