We have been running Kumar Tourist Agency Pvt from this little spot at Rz 3214 Gali No 36 in New Delhi for quite a few years now. It is not one of those shiny offices you see in the big malls. It is just a simple room with a couple of desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. Mostly, we spend our time talking to people who want to book a car or find a bus to somewhere nearby. The street outside, Gali No 36, is always noisy with people walking by and scooters honking, but we are used to it. We keep all our records in some big notebooks and a computer that takes a minute to start up. Sometimes the tea man from the corner brings us some chai and we sit and talk about the weather or the traffic. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing team. People just know we are here and they come in when they need help getting around. It can get a bit disorganized when three people walk in at once, but we manage to sort it out eventually. We just like helping people find their way without making things too complicated. Delhi is a huge city and it can be hard to navigate, so we try to give honest advice about which roads are blocked or which trains are running late. It is just a small, local business doing its thing every day.
