You can find us, Kuku Fashion Private Limited, at Sheetla House, numbers 107 and 108. The building is at No. 73-74 in Nehru Place. Most people think of Nehru Place as just a hub for computers and electronics, but there are businesses like ours here too. We have been in this office for several years now. It is not a very large space, so we have to use every inch we have for storage and desks. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we often just take the stairs to save time. Our work is mostly focused on the fashion side of things, dealing with suppliers and making sure our orders are moving along. We are not a high-fashion brand with a runway. We are just practical people making clothes that people can actually wear in their daily lives. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the carpet is a bit worn in the high-traffic spots, but it does not affect the work we do. We do not have any big slogans or corporate goals that we talk about in meetings. Actually, we do not really have formal meetings at all. We just talk across the desks when something needs to be decided. It is a bit informal, maybe even a little disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. Nehru Place is a busy, tiring place to work, but it keeps us on our toes.
