We are located over in Shivalik at A 206, which is a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads of New Delhi. It’s an older building, and you have to keep an eye out for the house number or you might drive right past it. Inside the Kpmg office, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks and making sure everything is sorted out by the end of the day. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is nice, even if the Delhi heat is pressing against the glass. We’ve got a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on because someone is always in need of more tea. It isn't a massive corporate skyscraper, just a regular space where we show up and work. Most of us have our own routines, like who gets in first to turn on the lights or who knows the best place nearby to get a decent lunch. The walls are a bit plain, and maybe we should put something up to make it look better, but we’re usually too busy with the paperwork to care. Dealing with the 110017 traffic is the hardest part of the day, but once we’re inside, things settle down. It’s a practical workspace, no frills or fancy decorations. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. It feels more like a local spot than anything else.
