Kerala Properties

I am writing this from our small place in Lajpat Nagar. It is Flat C in the Q-1/B block. It is not a very big office, just a few chairs and a table where we keep our files. Most people around here know us because we have been in this neighborhood for a long time. My uncle started this work and now I handle the daily stuff. We spend a lot of time walking around the different blocks looking at properties that come up for rent or sale. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning chai. Dealing with property in Delhi is mostly about talking to people and understanding what they actually need. Some want a balcony, others want a ground floor. We just try to help them find something that fits. It gets very busy in the evenings when people come back from work. They stop by to ask about new listings. We don't have a big staff, just two of us here most days. The walls have some old maps of the area pinned up. It feels like home because we spend more time here than at our actual houses. Sometimes the fan makes a lot of noise, but we are used to it. If you are looking for a place in Lajpat Nagar, you usually find your way to our door eventually. We don't do anything fancy, just normal property work every day. My cousin often stops by to help with the filing when things get too messy.
