My clinic is located in Maidan Garhi Rajplur Khurd. It’s a place where people come when they aren't feeling their best, so I try to keep things orderly. The waiting room has these plastic chairs that I’ve had for a long time. Every morning, I come in and check my bag to make sure everything is where it should be. Dealing with patients all day takes a lot of focus. You hear a lot of stories about aches and pains. I write a lot of notes on paper pads because it’s faster for me than using a computer. The street outside can be a bit dusty, so I’m always asking the help to sweep the front step. Sometimes there’s a long line of people, and I feel bad because I can’t move any faster. You have to listen to everyone properly. Maidan Garhi is a place where people know each other, so I often end up asking about someone’s cousin or mother. It’s more than just medicine; it’s about being part of the community here. The fans on the ceiling keep spinning all day, making that clicking sound. I’ve gotten used to it. It’s a small office, nothing too big or modern, but it does what it needs to do. I’ll keep sitting here as long as people need me to look at their fevers or coughs.
