Kanzo Clothing is right in the heart of the 825 Main Market in Mehrauli, Ward No-6. If you’ve ever walked through Mehrauli, you know how busy and packed the market can get. Our shop is right in the thick of it. It’s a constant stream of people walking past our doors from morning until night. We deal with clothing, and since we’re in the main market, we have to keep things moving. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack the clothes and display what we have. It’s often noisy outside with the vendors and the traffic, but that’s the energy of the market. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals; we just want to sell clothes that people in the neighborhood want to buy. I’ve spent many years in this market, and you get to know the regulars and the other shopkeepers pretty well. Some days are incredibly busy and we barely have time to sit down, while other days are a bit slower and we can catch our breath. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and the prices fair. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, face to face with the customers. We don’t bother with much of the modern marketing stuff because being in the Main Market means the customers are already right there in front of us.
