Shubham Fashion is down on the lower ground floor at M 14. If you see the Punjab and Sind Bank in Kalkaji, you are getting pretty close to us. Just look for the stairs going down. It is a bit tucked away, so we get a lot of people asking for directions even when they are standing right in front of the building. We have been in this Kalkaji spot for a good bit now. It is a small space and usually it is packed with stock from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries coming in at once. We do not have a big fancy window display to show off. Mostly we are just working through the piles of fabric and clothes. It is busy here, especially during the wedding season or when festivals are coming up. The bank upstairs is a good landmark because everyone in the neighborhood knows it. We share the floor with a few other small businesses too. The lighting could probably be better, but we make do with what we have. We mostly deal with local folks who already know we are here. It is not the quietest place with the street noise and the bank customers coming and going all day. We keep the shop open late most days to finish up. My cousin helps me out when things get really hectic. It is a straightforward business and we like being in Kalkaji.
