Our business is located at D-17/1 on the ground floor in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. Being in Okhla means we are right in the middle of a very busy industrial district. There are trucks constantly moving in and out, and the roads can get pretty chewed up from all the heavy traffic. Our ground floor spot makes it a lot easier for us to load and unload goods without having to worry about stairs or lifts. The space inside is pretty large, but it’s mostly taken up by workstations and storage racks for our fashion items. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and fabric. It’s a working environment through and through. We have a small area for our desks where we handle all the paperwork and phone calls. The noise from the neighboring units is something you just get used to after a while. We usually start quite early in the morning to beat some of the heat and the worst of the traffic. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our tea and some biscuits during the afternoon break. We aren't trying to be anything corporate or polished. We’re just a group of people working hard in a busy part of South Delhi to get things done without making a big fuss about it.
