We’ve been based here at 79/14 in Zakir Nagar for quite some time now. If you know the Jamia Nagar area in New Delhi, you know it stays pretty busy with students and families all over the place. Jerry Varghese International Ltd. is basically an office where we spend our days dealing with recruitment and manpower stuff. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a regular workplace where the phones ring a lot and there is always some paperwork to file or a candidate to talk to. Most of the people who walk through our doors are looking for better opportunities, maybe something overseas or just a new start somewhere else. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It gets noisy outside with the traffic and the local markets, but inside we are focused on matching names to jobs. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have big projects going on. We aren’t trying to do anything flashy here. We just handle the hiring side of things for various industries. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at resumes, to be honest. But it’s what we do. If you’re ever around this part of Delhi, you’ll see our sign. We’ve been a part of the local landscape here for a while, just doing the daily work of an international recruitment firm without much fuss. It's just a job, really, but it keeps us all pretty busy.
