Jeewan Hospital

Our place is Jeewan Hospital, and you can find us in Jeewan Nagar, which is quite near the Ashram area. It’s a neighborhood where a lot of people know each other, and we feel like a part of that. The hospital is a modest building on a regular street. We don’t have huge neon signs or anything like that. Inside, there is a small lobby and the treatment rooms are just down the hall. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the usual day-to-day things like cleaning, organizing files, and talking to the people who live nearby. It’s a simple setup because we think that’s all you really need to get the job done. The atmosphere is usually calm, though it can get a bit loud when the street outside is busy. We have a few staff members who have been here since the beginning. We don’t use a lot of fancy medical jargon when we talk to people; we just try to explain things in a way that makes sense. The rooms are kept tidy, but they aren't decorated like a hotel. We focus on the practical side of things. Most of our days are spent checking on patients and making sure everything is ready for the next person who walks in. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work that we do here in Jeewan Nagar. We’re just a local hospital trying to be there for the neighborhood. It is a bit of a walk from the main road.
