Jaysons Hospital

You can find Jaysons Hospital over in Ward No 1 of Mehrauli, which is an area with a lot of history and very narrow, winding streets. Being at 18/31, we are right in the middle of a very crowded neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. The hospital is a busy facility, and we deal with a lot of people coming in from the nearby houses and markets. It isn't a modern glass skyscraper; it’s a solid building that has been adapted over time to fit more beds and equipment. We spend our days managing the flow of patients and making sure that the different departments are talking to each other. The heat in Delhi can be tough, so we are always checking that the cooling systems are working for the comfort of the people inside. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a place like this, and you can usually find someone at the front desk sorting through files or answering the phone. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It is just about being here when someone needs a doctor or a bed for the night. The staff mostly comes from the surrounding areas, so there is a lot of local talk in the corridors. It’s a hectic job, and the neighborhood is always noisy, but we just take it one day at a time and keep things going.
