Jasmin Garments

Our workshop is located at TA-2A/1, up on the third floor in the Tughlakabad Extension area. It’s one of those buildings in the alley where you really have to know where you’re going if you want to find us. We’ve been operating Jasmin Garments from this particular spot for a while now. The whole place is mostly filled with sewing machines and the big stacks of fabric we have lying around on the floor and tables. We don’t really have a lot of room for anything extra. Every single corner of the room is used for something, whether it’s storing rolls of thread or keeping the finished pieces ready for the next delivery. The walk up the stairs several times a day definitely keeps us fit, that’s for sure. We work with a small, dedicated group of tailors. We aren't a big, fancy factory, just a local shop doing our best to get the customer orders out on time. The neighborhood is always full of energy and a lot of noise, which we don't really mind. It keeps the atmosphere lively while we work. We focus on the practical side of the business. If a button is loose on a shirt, we fix it. If a seam isn't perfectly straight, we redo it until it is. It’s simple, honest work, but it requires a lot of attention. We don’t do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how people find us. We just want to do a decent job.
