Out here in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II, things are always moving fast. Janta Steel Industries India is at B-1/3, and if you come by, you’ll see we’re just like the other shops on the block. There’s always the sound of trucks reversing and the clanging of steel being moved around. It’s a dusty place and we’ve got stacks of inventory that reach almost to the ceiling. We’ve been at this for a while and the routine doesn't change much. We show up, check the orders, and start the processing. It’s hard work and it wears you out by the end of the shift. We don’t have a polished showroom or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of us near the loading dock or at a workbench. The walls are stained with years of industrial work and the floor is cracked in a few places, but it doesn't bother us. We care about the steel and making sure it's cut or shaped the way it was asked for. There’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of, but we try to keep it organized on our messy desks. We just take it one day at a time, dealing with the heat and the noise. It’s a real industrial life here in Okhla, and we’re just part of the landscape, keeping the supply moving for whoever needs it.
