A1 Garments

A1 Garments is located at J-33 on Muradi Road in the Batla House area of Okhla. It is a very busy part of town, and the road is always packed with people and rickshaws moving back and forth. Our shop is filled with piles of clothes from the floor to the ceiling. We try to keep things sorted by size and type, but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a lot of customers are looking through the stock at the same time. There’s a small changing area tucked away in the corner, though it’s nothing fancy. The light bulbs overhead are a bit old and give off a warm yellow glow that makes the shop feel a bit cozy despite the clutter. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is buried in the stacks. Sometimes we have to move twenty boxes just to find one specific shirt someone asked for. We spend a lot of time folding things back up after a long day. The front of the shop is mostly open to the street, so we hear all the sounds of Batla House throughout the day. We don't spend money on advertising or big displays; we just let the clothes speak for themselves. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside when it’s busy, but people don’t seem to mind much as they are used to the neighborhood's pace.
