Ishrat Poly Clinic

Ishrat Poly Clinic sits right on the Kapa Soda Border. It’s an interesting spot because we get people coming from both sides. The border area is always moving with people and trucks. Our clinic is a bit of a refuge from all that noise outside. We have a few different rooms for various consultations. It’s called a poly clinic because we try to have a few different services available in one spot. It’s not a huge fancy medical center, just a practical place for the people living and working near Kapa Soda Border. I spend most of my day at the entrance, greeting people and pointing them the right way. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The walls are a plain color and the furniture is just standard stuff. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decor. We just want to make sure the patients get seen. Sometimes the power goes out in this area, so we have to deal with that, but we make do. It’s a local business run by local people. We don't have a big corporate office telling us what to do. We just listen to the people who walk in and try to help them out with their health issues. It’s honest work and we’ve been at this border spot for a good while.
