Irene Cosmos Hospital

You can find us over in Defence Colony. It’s a bit of a quieter part of the city compared to the main center. The hospital sits right there in the middle of the residential blocks. Defence Colony has a certain feel to it, with lots of trees and houses, and we’re just another part of that landscape. The building isn't overly tall, so it doesn't tower over the neighbors too much. We have a front desk that's usually piled with some papers and a phone that rings quite a bit. The waiting area has some old magazines and a few chairs that have seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough. People from the colony often just walk over if they need something. It’s nice because you don’t have the constant roar of heavy highway traffic here, just the occasional car or delivery bike passing through. The rooms are basic and clean, without any of the extra decorations you might see in a big private city hospital. We prefer it that way because it feels more like a part of the community. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and the generator kicks in with a loud hum, which everyone is used to by now. It’s a practical place for folks living in or near Defence Colony. We just focus on keeping the doors open and the floors swept while we go about our work each day in this neighborhood.
