Setting up shop in Lajpat Nagar 2 was a choice we made because of how central it feels. We are at G 62, and if you know New Delhi, you know how hectic this area can get. At Infosys Bpo Ltd, we aren't really about the corporate glitz. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, dealing with data and talking to people on the phone. The office is tucked away, so it’s not always easy to find if you’re just walking by. We’ve been here long enough that the local chai wallah knows all our names. It’s a bit noisy outside with the market nearby, but inside we try to stay focused. We handle a lot of different business processes here. It sounds more complicated than it is, really it’s just about being organized and keeping track of things. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates, which is just part of living in Delhi, but we deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a steady place for people to work and get their tasks done right. Most of the staff comes from nearby areas, so there's a local feel to the place. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby, just a door and some desks where the work happens.
