Indraprastha Apolo Hospital

Over at the Dept of Nephrology in Indraprasth Apolo Hospital, we spend most of our time dealing with kidney stuff. We are located right in the middle of the Sarita Vihar area, which is a busy spot to be. Our department is tucked away inside the main building, and it’s usually full of people coming in for their regular check-ups or treatments. It’s a specific kind of work we do here, and you get to know the regulars pretty well because they have to visit quite often. Some of the patients have been coming to see us for years, so we end up chatting about their kids or the weather while the machines are running. The halls can be a bit confusing if you’re new, but once you find us, it’s a bit more settled. We don’t have much time for fluff or polished talk because there is always someone waiting. The nurses are usually rushing from one bed to another, and the doctors are always checking charts. It’s a bit of a routine that never really stops. Sarita Vihar has changed a lot around us, with more shops and traffic, but inside these walls, the work stays pretty much the same. We just try to make sure everything runs on time, even when the ward gets packed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every single day here.
